Vijayadashami also known as Dussehra or Mohani Nakha is a festival celebrated across India. It is celebrated on the tenth day of the bright half of the Hindu month of Ashwayuja or Ashwina, and is the grand culmination of the 10-day annual festival of Dasara or Navaratri.
The burning of the effigies of Ravana on Vijayadashami, signifying the victory of good over evil, brings the festivities to a colourful close.

I don’t think the colors change. Because these are the favorite colors representing the different aspects of devis. If every year aspects of devi changes then only color changes. But I will try to find out and will tell u soon.
thanks for posting the colors but i was watching zee news today and they said that on the 14th u r supposed to wear white and tomorrow (the 15th) it’s supposed to be green or yellow. Now i’m not sure who to follow.
I m sure. This are the write colors. As I have seen in Loksatta newspaper also. Now may be they had mistake. But i have checked it.

Infact i saw on Aaj tak , they said on 4th navratri (15th) wear green and on 5th (16th) wear orange. and I followed that too.

the name of the colour is not mentioned while this can be seen on the monitor.
when someone is given a print out, he/she is unable to know which colour is shown for each day.
may be the colour can be mentioned in the square itself.
